The dates are simple this year: LEO, Firefighter, Citizen are due to me on or before April 15th... tax day. You might want to forget that date, however since it's always on your mind, thus the reason for placing it on that date. Posts, please go out to your local Law Enforcement agencies, Firefighter departments, and the community for a Citizen. Make your choice of one per award and send it to your District Chairman. If you don't know who it is, look in the Department Roster - the name is there! District Chairmen, contact your Posts, gather their selections, and have your team make a selection, sending the District selection to me by the above date. Rhonda Goff is a 1999 graduate of Nichols State University with a BS in Environmental Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. She received her Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Coast Guard in 1993. She is a 2003 graduate of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Academy for General Law Enforcement. She is a member of Post 222.
